Listen to Awreeohs (or Pharrells) First Song From the Dope Soundtrack

The Dope movie’s VEVO account posted Awreeoh’s “Don’t Get Deleted” song from the soundtrack and film Thursday. (Awreeoh is the name of the Dope protagonists’ band; all their songs were written by Pharrell.) It’s your classic commentary on how kids these days interact with each other differently than the youngsters from previous generations — except there’s a drone as well as a lot of shopping carts. Confused? Me, too. But it’s the first real sound of Dope’s post-hip-hop punk band, so enjoy. (The movie’s out June 19, and the soundtrack will be out three days before.)
